The WHY is a multi-faceted non-profit organization.  We offer programming, office services, grief counseling, outreach services, employment opportunities for students, and fulfill a variety of other needs within the community.

The Logan Lake Wellness, Health, and Youth Society (WHY) promotes wellness, health of mind and body by encouraging a healthy lifestyle, personal growth, and service to people of all ages within the community of Logan Lake.

The WHY offers a yearly membership, due in January.  A membership entitles you use of the gym on a drop-in basis and discounts on the majority of our programming.  See our flyer for more information or click on the link below.

Summer Program for children. 
  

LL WHY SUMMER PROGRAM
The WHY will be offering its summer program again this year! 
This year we are changing up the session as we are fortunate to have a qualified art instructor to teach art.  The sessions will run on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and will include an outside component, time for a snack, as well as an arts & crafts component.  Each week will be a different theme.  The outside component will in some way be related to the art theme, if possible. Ages 4-7 will be 9am – 12 pm and 7 & up will be 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.  The cost is $25.00 per week.

Effective June 1, medium to large sized open fires will  be prohibited within the District of Logan Lake jurisdiction to help prevent human-caused wildfires and limit the impact of smoke, excluding cooking stoves (gas, propane, briquette) or campfires that are
