PAL: Canadian Firearms Safety Course

Minimum class size:    8 participants

 

The Canadian Firearms Safety Course focuses on non-restricted firearms such as rifles & shotguns and covers safety, operation and handling. This course is required in order to apply for your PAL (Possession Acquisition License).

CORE: Conservation & Outdoor Education

Minimum class size:    8 participants

 

The Conservation & Outdoor Recreation Education program gives you the skills & requirements towards being a safe & ethical hunter. This course is required to obtain a hunting license as a BC resident.

​RPAL: Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course

The Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course is an add-on to your firearms safety. This course will give you all the basic information and skills you need to handle, fire and maintain restricted firearms safely.

This one-day course is a food handling, sanitation and work safety course.  It covers important food and worker safety information including receiving and storing food, preparing and serving food, cleaning and sanitizing.

 

Red Cross Emergency First Aid & CPR

Save Lives at Your Workplace or Home With the Red Cross Emergency First Aid Course

The Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid course teaches the most important principles of the first aid and how to use them during diverse types of emergencies at a workplace or at home.

Students will be able to understand how the medical regulation works and learn a vaster medicine related knowledge, including content about how body systems works, many different injury treatment, quick surveys and how healthy lifestyles influences responses of treatment during an emergency.

The course also includes content related to CPR classes for single patients and guidelines on how to act during the most common emergencies, which is convenient for people working in low-risk industries and workplaces. Family leaders and community members can also apply to the classes!

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your ID.  Certificate issued upon successful completion.
